Cloud Update

We are so grateful to Dr. Mercurio and the wonderful team at Virginia Veterinary Centers for taking such good care of our sweet girl. Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and dedication to Cloud’s care.

Her diagnosis has been confirmed: Cloud will need surgery for PRAA, or persistent right aortic arch. This is a condition she was born with in which an abnormal arrangement of blood vessels creates a tight ring around her esophagus–the tube that carries food to her stomach. That tightness makes it difficult for food to pass normally. Surgery will release the constricting band to relieve pressure on her esophagus.

Cloud has an important journey ahead, and we would be so grateful for your support. Donations will help cover her surgery and the care she needs during recovery. Every gift, no matter the size, helps us give her the care she deserves.
